Training activities

Voter List Update Training:

To carry out the voter list updating activities during the year in which the voter list is updated under the direction of the Election Commission-

A) Data collector

B) Supervisor

C) Technical support

D) Team Leader

*) Manpower is recruited as helper. These manpower are recruited by the concerned District Election Officer on full temporary basis and the recruits are given 1 (one) day training as per the instructions of the Election Commission.

Training advice:
A) Training management requires training with self-portrait through projector.
B) For the convenience of the trainees in the training class, the trainees need to have high quality mouthpieces through the sound box.
C) Every upazila should have an institution with classrooms suitable for training.
D) Training materials should be of high quality.

 

Training activities:
In order to recruit skilled manpower for conducting Jatiya Sangsad elections and local government elections, the Electoral Training Institute under the Election Commission conducts the following elections under the supervision of the Upazila Election Officers as directed by the Election Commission. E.g.
A) Training of Presiding Officers (Polling Officers).
B) Training of Assistant Presiding Officers (Polling Officers).
C) Training of Polling Officers.
D) Training of law enforcement officers in charge of polling stations.
F) Training of polling agents

 

District council election training
A) Training of Presiding Officers (Polling Officers).
B) Training of Assistant Presiding Officers (Polling Officers).
C) Training of Polling Officers.
D) Training of polling agents

 

Upazila Parishad election training
A) Training of Presiding Officers (Polling Officers).
B) Training of Assistant Presiding Officers (Polling Officers).
C) Training of Polling Officers.
D) Training of law enforcement officers in charge of polling stations
F) Training of polling agents

 

Union Parishad Election Training:
A) Training of Presiding Officers (Polling Officers).
B) Training of Assistant Presiding Officers (Polling Officers).
C) Training of Polling Officers.
D) Training of law enforcement officers in charge of polling stations
F) Training of polling agents
District Election Officers, Upazila Election Officers, other officers of the Election Commission act as trainers for all election polling officers (Presiding Officers, Assistant Presiding Officers, Polling Officers and Law Enforcement Officers posted at polling stations). Deputy Commissioners, Superintendents of Police and other officers are acting as Super Vising Instructors. The Election Training Institute, Dhaka provides training as an election trainer to train polling officers in the said elections.
